Joe G. will lead a ride to the Hawthorne Gun Club, which is approximately 30 miles and will take about 40 minutes.  It will be a mix of highway and secondary roads.

“This is a bring your own event.  The range does not sell ammunition.  There are 15 covered ports and targets are set at 25 yards.  They will supply targets and there is some eye and ear protection available but if you have your own please bring it. It is mandatory.  Magnum cartridges are not allowed.  There will be be a $5.00 guest fee.  This is a fraction of the cost of a public range.  There will be several certified instructors, including me, who will be available to assist with new or newer shooters.  Lunch will be at the Fair Lawn Promenade and choices will be Anthony’s Coal fired pizza and wings or Habit Burger.  There is also a Mexican restaurant on site.”
